2008 Paul Harris Fellowship Awards
On Tuesday, December 9, the Cannon Falls Rotary Club sponsored its annual Paul Harris Fellowship Awards ceremony at the Cannon River Winery.
Paul Harris founded the first Rotary Club in 1905. Since then, his name has become synonymous with the highest ideals and spirit of Rotary International. Recipients of a Paul Harris Fellowship needn't be a member of Rotary; rather, Rotary members may nominate anyone from the community who has consistently demonstrated the driving principle behind Rotary International -- SERVICE ABOVE SELF.
